My aspiration to work in the veterinary industry began since before I can remember. Treating animals was something I always tried to achieve whether it was rescuing a baby bird in the garden, or using my plastic stethoscope and bandages on stuffed toys. To pursue my goal of becoming a veterinary physiotherapist I attended Warwickshire College for three years where I studied for my degree. I have a great interest in anatomy, physiology and also electrotherapies. The perk of my degree is that there is always something new and interesting to learn, and being able to have lots of cuddles with the dogs isn't too bad either.
I joined the team at Wye Valley Vets in November 2017 where I would mainly be found at front of house, but since March 2018 I began taking on my own clients and physiotherapy sessions. I am enjoying taking on my own cases and building relationships with clients. It is a very rewarding job.
Outside of work you will find me spending time with my dogs Barney and George, attempting to learn different languages for my future travels, and watching copious amounts of Friends.
