I moved to Hereford from Devon in 2006 after my family decided to settle here. In the summer between A-levels and starting at the University of Bristol, I managed to volunteer both at a Chimpanzee Sanctuary in Sierra Leone and also with a conservation charity based in Mexico/Guatemala. Both my experiences were incredible and enforced my enthusiasm towards my veterinary degree.
I graduated from the University of Bristol in 2017 and joined the team at Wye Valley Vets soon thereafter. I absolutely love meeting my patients and clients and providing the best care possible to each and every one. Whilst at University, I was the Ambassador for Royal Canin and so I like to be involved with nutritional medicine and the roles good nutrition can play in the treatment and prevention of disease.
My other interest is in small animal medicine, where I enjoy the stabilisation aspect of the case, particulary in emergency situations. I am starting my post-graduate certificate in small animal medicine in January 2022. I currently live with my rescue pets; Sven the Pug and Minnie the Cat, along with a small flock of bantam chickens.
