Josie Williams-Jones RVN

Veterinary Nurse

I come from a family of animal lovers and grew up in the Welsh countryside surrounded by dogs, cats, chickens and lots of other small furries. It's safe to say this definitely influenced my career choice to become a veterinary nurse.

I graduated from Harper Adams University with a degree in veterinary nursing in 2017. I returned home to Mid Wales and joined the Wye Valley Vets team in August 2017. In conjunction to this, I have completed a Canine and Feline Oral Healthcare course.

Since starting work here I have adopted Pippa, a little RSPCA puppy that came in to see us in October 2017. Pippa can usually be found assisting the reception team, or snoozing on the desk. I also have two free range Bunnies, Spud and Parsnip. They enjoy digging up my lawn or tearing up my Veggie Patch.

Eventually I would love to end up with my very own small holding, complete with a herd of Ryland sheep, a flock of chickens and lots more rescue dogs!
