I grew up in Hereford and have always been surrounded by animals. My family had multiple dogs, cats, rabbits and hamsters as we all share a love of animals.
I joined Wye Valley in 2019 on reception and loved helping people with telephone enquiries and meeting and greeting all the small furries as they came in. In 2021 I was then able to start my veterinary nurse training. Although starting college during lockdown was very different and scary, I am very proud to now be a fully qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse.
I currently have 2 pets which were both re-homed to me through Wye Valley Vets!
My American bulldog named Phil came to me in 2021 needing a loving home and a lot of de-sensitisation to life as he was very nervous aggressive of everyone and everything - he is now a very happy boy who goes to hydrotherapy and has massages to help with his many skeletal problems - due to his breed.
I also re-homed a Savannah cat named Loki in 2023 who has issues with his liver. I am able to manage these with a strict hepatic diet and regular medication.
Phil & Loki are best friends and love to cuddle up together on the sofa and share a blanket.
